1/2" & 3/4" Brass Pipe Fittings – Straight, Elbow, Tee, Plug & Hex Nipple Connectors with Seal Washer

Measure the outer diameter of your pipe threads and match to the nominal pipe size. 1/2" NPT pipe has an OD of approximately 0.840" (21.3mm); 3/4" NPT has an OD of approximately 1.050" (26.7mm). When in doubt, use a thread gauge or consult a pipe sizing chart before ordering. Note that nominal pipe size does not equal the actual thread diameter.

These fittings are designed for NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads, the standard used in the United States for plumbing and gas piping. NPT threads are tapered and generally not compatible with BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads without a dedicated adapter. If your system uses BSP threads, please contact us before ordering.

Brass is naturally corrosion-resistant and typically performs well in damp or outdoor environments. For fully exposed outdoor installations, applying PTFE thread tape and a suitable pipe sealant is recommended to maintain a leak-free seal over time. Avoid prolonged contact with highly acidic water or chemicals, which can degrade brass over time.

Brass fittings of this type are generally rated for working pressures up to 200 PSI for water and 125 PSI for gas applications, though actual ratings depend on the specific configuration, installation quality, and temperature. Always verify pressure ratings against your system requirements and local codes before installation.

Yes. NPT threads rely on thread engagement plus a sealant to achieve a leak-free connection. Apply PTFE (Teflon) thread tape or a pipe thread compound to the male threads before assembly. The included seal washer provides additional sealing at the joint face. Do not over-tighten — typically 2–3 turns past hand-tight is sufficient for brass NPT fittings.

These fittings are generally suitable for residential water supply lines, workshop compressed air systems, natural gas and propane distribution (verify local codes and regulations), irrigation systems, and hydronic heating loops. They are not recommended for highly acidic fluids, steam at elevated pressures, or applications that specifically require stainless steel or CPVC fittings.

The letters indicate the port gender on each of the three tee openings in order: F = Female (internal/socket thread), M = Male (external thread). For example:

• FFF — all three ports are female (accepts male pipe ends)
• MMM — all three ports are male (inserts into female sockets)
• FMF — female / male / female ports

Choose based on the thread gender of the pipes or fittings you are connecting at each port of the tee.
