These are very nice deck type screws. The Torx head is always a plus for driving them in and they include a T25 bit. The screws have several features of top of the line deck screws such as the cut out point to make starting easier and the reverse thread at the top portion to keep boards from rising up. Coating seems like it should be durable although we'll see over time.

I'm building a lean to onto an old timber framed barn. As such I'm screwing modern construction lumber to oak timbers, doubled up 2x to posts, etc. These screws are the perfect length, drive easily with a 1/4" DeWalt impact, and I've yet to have one snap. They are torx drive which is the only way to go for things like this. The coating seems nice but I won't know about corrosion resistance for a long time. Being #10 they have sufficient strength to hold headers and rafter boards up under load and are a great value compared to buying at the home store.

These are very good Torx-head deck screws. I always have outdoor repair projects on our property. I am in constant need of wood screws at a variety of lengths. These 3-inch screws will be very helpful with a long list of my upcoming projects. I opened the plastic box these came in and inspected the screws. I like the quality and coating of these screws. I could find no problems with any of the screws I looked at. All good as far as the screws themselves. When I went to close the plastic box/container, the hinge tab snapped off. This means the box can no longer be securely snapped close. Because of this I removed the handle on the box so I would not lift the box with the handle and have all the screws fall to the floor. I realize that no one buys screws because of the box. But it would have been nice if the plastic box did not break so easily. – Screws are good though.
