1/4" Camera Strap Screw Mount Adapter for DJI Pocket 3, Insta360 & Action Cameras

The D-ring (swivel) style rotates 360°, making it ideal for shoulder straps and wrist lanyards where the strap needs to pivot freely during movement. The O-ring (fixed loop) style is more compact at 20mm × 20mm (≈0.8" sq.) and suits setups where a low-profile anchor point is preferred and strap rotation isn't needed. When in doubt, the D-ring swivel is generally the more versatile choice for active use.

These adapters are machined from stainless steel and are generally suitable for compact cameras, pocket gimbals, and action camera cages in the typical 100–600g range. They are not intended for heavy telephoto DSLR bodies. If you're unsure, we recommend confirming the load rating with your strap system manufacturer before use with heavier equipment.

Yes. The stainless steel construction with a matte-polished surface treatment provides good resistance to moisture and light corrosion, making these adapters generally suitable for outdoor photography, travel, and humid environments. Avoid prolonged submersion in water. Wipe dry after exposure to rain or salt air to extend service life.

These adapters use a 1/4"-20 UNC thread — the universal standard used on the vast majority of cameras, gimbals, tripods, and camera cages worldwide. If your device has a standard 1/4" tripod socket, this adapter will fit. Important: bare action cameras (DJI Pocket 3 body only, GoPro, etc.) do not have a built-in 1/4" port — a cage or quick-release plate is required first.

The polyester lanyard strap (included in select bundles) features a metal O-ring at each end that loops directly onto the D-ring or O-ring of the screw adapter. The strap is 120cm (≈47") long with a 16.5cm (≈6.5") wrist loop and has slight elasticity for comfortable carry. Available in multiple color combinations — see variant options above.

This adapter is compatible with any camera or accessory featuring a standard 1/4"-20 tripod socket, including:

• DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (with cage or quick-release)
• Insta360 X4, X3, and similar 360° cameras (with cage)
• DSLR and mirrorless cameras with a bottom tripod socket
• Gimbals and stabilizers with a 1/4" port
• Tripod heads and camera cages

It is not directly compatible with bare action cameras that lack a 1/4" port without an additional cage or mount adapter.

Thread the 1/4"-20 male screw on the adapter into your camera's tripod socket by hand. Tighten snugly — no tools are required in most cases for compact cameras and gimbals. Once secured, attach your strap or lanyard to the ring. For cameras requiring a cage, mount the cage first, then thread the adapter into the cage's 1/4" port.
