Exposed wire ends, loose splice joints, and bare connector terminals are a constant frustration for electricians, automotive technicians, hobbyists, and DIYers alike. A frayed connection in a car harness or a bare solder joint on a PCB can cause shorts, corrosion, or outright failure — often at the worst possible moment. This 2:1 heat shrink tubing gives you a fast, clean way to insulate, protect, and bundle wires without tape that unravels or cable ties that slip.
Each order is fulfilled as a continuous length of polyolefin heat shrink tubing, available in 35 diameters ranging from Ø0.6mm (≈0.024") to Ø80mm (≈3.15"), and in packing quantities of 1m, 2m, 5m, 10m, 20m, or 50m. The 2:1 shrink ratio means the tubing shrinks to approximately half its listed inner diameter when heat is applied — for example, Ø10mm (≈3/8") tubing shrinks down to roughly Ø5mm (≈3/16"). Wall thickness and grip increase as the tubing contracts, locking it firmly around the underlying wire or component.
Typical use cases include automotive wiring harness repair, marine and RV electrical connections, PCB and electronics prototyping, garden and outdoor lighting cable management, and general-purpose wire bundling and color-coding. The wide diameter range makes this a single-source solution for everything from fine gauge signal wires to large battery cables.
