304 stainless steel BSP fittings generally handle working pressures up to 150 PSI (approximately 10 bar) for standard water and fluid applications. The 45°-Female variant is an angled elbow fitting, not a straight tee. It redirects flow at a 45-degree angle, which is useful when routing pipes around obstacles or making directional changes in tight spaces. Standard tee variants (M-M-M, F-F-F, etc.) split or combine flow in a straight T-shape at 90°.

Y-type fittings branch at an angle (typically around 45°) rather than 90°, which reduces turbulence and flow restriction compared to a standard tee — commonly used in drainage and low-resistance flow systems. Dimensional fittings are reducing tees where the branch port is a different size than the run ports, allowing you to connect pipes of different diameters in a single fitting without a separate reducer.
