Brown Heat Shrink Tubing 2:1 Ratio — 1mm to 50mm Diameter

Measure the outer diameter of the cable or connector you need to cover. Choose a heat shrink size whose unshrunk inner diameter is at least 10–20% larger than your cable's OD. With a 2:1 shrink ratio, the tubing will shrink to approximately half its listed diameter — for example, φ6mm (unshrunk) shrinks to roughly 3mm (≈1/8"). When in doubt, size up rather than down.
