Match the drive size to your existing socket set. 1/4" drive is suited for small fasteners (M4–M8 range), 3/8" covers most general automotive and household tasks (M8–M14), and 1/2" drive handles heavy-duty applications such as wheel bolts and suspension components (M14 and above). If you're unsure, 3/8" is the most versatile starting point for mixed DIY work.

The L-Bar has a single right-angle bend, giving you a long lever arm on one side for applying high breakaway torque. The T-Wrench has a cross-handle so you can push with both hands simultaneously, which provides more balanced, controlled rotation — useful when you need feel rather than raw force, such as when threading a bolt into aluminium.

These are hand-turn extension bars and are not rated for impact driver or impact wrench use. For impact applications, use dedicated impact-rated extensions. These bars are designed for manual torque only.

The bars are machined from hardened steel. For occasional outdoor or damp-environment use, wipe them down with a light machine oil after each use to prevent surface rust. They are not stainless steel, so prolonged exposure to moisture without maintenance may cause surface oxidation.

For most engine bay applications — such as reaching oil drain plugs, alternator bolts, or deep-set suspension fasteners — the 250mm or 255mm variants offer a good balance of reach and control. The 350mm bar is better suited for chassis underside work or situations where the fastener is more than 10 inches below the access point.

Yes. The square drive end conforms to the standard 1/4" (6.35mm) square drive specification, which is universal across socket brands including Craftsman, Stanley, Tekton, and others. No adapter is needed as long as your sockets are 1/4" drive.

If your fastener is accessible within roughly 10 inches of depth or clearance, the 250mm bar gives better control and is easier to maneuver in confined spaces. Choose the 350mm bar when you need to reach fasteners deeper than 10 inches, or when you need extra leverage arm length to break loose a particularly stubborn bolt.
