Measure the outer diameter (OD) of your tubing — not the inner diameter. The connector's tube port must match the OD exactly. Common sizes in this range are 4mm (≈5/32"), 6mm (≈1/4"), 8mm (≈5/16"), 10mm (≈3/8"), 12mm (≈1/2"), and 16mm (≈5/8"). When in doubt, measure with calipers rather than relying on nominal hose labels.

PT (Pipe Taper) is the Japanese/Asian standard equivalent to BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) — they are generally interchangeable. NPT (American National Pipe Taper) has a slightly different thread angle (60° vs 55°) and is not directly compatible. Use a PT-to-NPT adapter if your port is NPT.

Push fit connectors of this type are typically rated up to 10 bar (≈145 psi) at ambient temperature. Always verify the rating on the product label and derate for elevated temperatures or pulsating-pressure applications.

The polymer body and stainless/nickel-plated collet generally offer good moisture resistance for covered outdoor installations. For continuous submersion or highly corrosive environments, confirm material compatibility before use. The EPDM O-ring is generally suitable for water and mild chemical exposure.

Depressurize the line first. Then push the collet ring firmly toward the body while simultaneously pulling the tube straight out. Do not twist or yank — a smooth straight pull after pressing the collet is all that is needed. The fitting can typically be reused multiple times.

These fittings are generally compatible with semi-rigid polyurethane (PU), nylon (PA), and polyethylene (PE) pneumatic tubing. Soft silicone or very flexible PVC tubing may not grip reliably — use a tube insert stiffener if needed.

Yes. Although PT taper threads seal on the taper itself, PTFE tape (thread seal tape) is strongly recommended for a leak-free joint. Apply 2–3 wraps clockwise on the male thread before installation. Do not use liquid thread sealant on plastic ports as it may cause stress cracking.
