Measure the area you need to cover and add at least 5–10 mm on each edge for overlap or fixing allowance. Then select the next size up from the available options. For example, a 90 × 90 mm repair area would suit the 100 × 100 mm sheet. If your patch spans a larger area, consider the 200 × 200 mm or 300 × 300 mm options.

At 0.6mm, these sheets are intended for light-duty, non-load-bearing applications such as liners, covers, decorative panels, and thin brackets. They are not suitable as primary structural members. For applications requiring rigidity under load, a thicker gauge (1.0mm or above) would be more appropriate.

Grade A2 (304) performs well in sheltered outdoor environments with low chloride exposure. In coastal areas, high-humidity environments, or applications involving prolonged contact with salt water or harsh chemicals, Grade 316 (A4) stainless is the recommended choice. These sheets are Grade A2 and best suited to indoor or sheltered use.

Yes. At 0.6mm thickness, these sheets can be cut with aviation snips, a jigsaw fitted with a metal-cutting blade, or an angle grinder with a thin cutting disc. Bending can be done with a sheet metal folder or by clamping the sheet between two straight edges and applying even pressure. Deburr all cut edges before handling.

Grade 304 stainless steel is weldable using TIG or MIG processes with appropriate 308L filler wire. Soldering is possible with stainless-compatible flux, though the joint strength will be lower than a welded connection. At 0.6mm, heat management is important to avoid warping — use short tack welds and allow cooling between passes.
