Yes. These fittings use a solvent weld (solvent cement) connection. You will need a compatible PVC solvent cement and, ideally, a PVC primer/cleaner. Solvent cement is not included. Follow the cement manufacturer's cure time before pressurising the line.

These uPVC couplings are rated for cold and warm water up to approximately 60°C (140°F). They are not recommended for hot water heating systems, steam lines, or applications that regularly exceed this temperature. For hot water, consider CPVC or brass fittings.
