The size format is Outer Diameter – Inner Diameter. For example, a 10-6mm connector has a 10mm (≈3/8") barb on the large end and a 6mm (≈1/4") barb on the small end. When in doubt, size up slightly — a snug fit over the barb is better than a loose one.
