Trust the Process

I am pleasantly surprised by this little shed. A solo build is very possible if you are somewhat flexible & can understand directions; it took me about 8 hours to complete w/o ever having assembled something like this before. If tasked with doing it again, I could probably do it in 3 (if not for having to peel off the dang film!) A few things worth mentioning/improving; the directions in the manual need to illustrate positioning more clearly. It took some trial & error to figure things out. The door assembly specifically was pretty annoying. That being said, TRUST THE PROCESS… I don’t understand all of the issues people are having about holes not lining up. Yes, you may have to shimmy things around but it will all fall into form. Lastly, SECURE THE FRAME! People who mentioned that it blew away in the wind or fell apart obviously did not secure it to a platform. Overall, I am quite surprised with the quality & sturdiness after complete assembly. I may take the doors off to use it as a glorified wood shed. Awesome product!

Great affordable shed!

It took me a while to decide on this shed as there is a lot of competition and I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. For the money I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a better shed. Sure it has some dents and dings it's pretty thin metal but it's held up through all four seasons with no problems and I'm sure it will hold for many more years. I probably overbuilt the base with two by sixes, you could probably get by with two by fours or maybe even use some pallets or something if you were trying to go real cheap. The assembly instructions are adequate take your time and read them before diving into the whole project. I assembled the whole thing by myself however it would have been significantly easier with someone else. There were several times it was quite The Balancing Act trying to get everything lined up and screwed together with just myself. I built the base one day and assembled the shed the next if I was really hustling I probably could have done the whole thing in a day but it's probably better to give yourself two. I used some silicone sealant on some of the roof joints because it did leak a touch when I first assembled it but after that it's been holding strong through very heavy winds and rains. If a decent sized branch or something fell from a pretty good height above it I'm sure it would do quite the damage to it so maybe don't put it underneath a bunch of dead trees. The size is great I'm able to fit my snowblower and lawn mower and other various things in it which was my goal. If I could do it again I would like a little bit bigger, but it would have looked kind of ridiculous in my yard to go much bigger than what this is so I'm happy with it. Overall happy with the shed but I can't stress enough to take your time assembling it you might need to get creative sometimes you might need to up size Hardware if a screw won't thread or something but it's really not that bad if you're halfway handy.

Everything fits as it should.

If you bought this product and saw the reviews, you would assume the holes don’t lineup, the instructions are hard to understand, and nothing is as it should be. I have to tell you, if you have a brain cell in your head, and the ability to build Lego sets by directions, then this should be a breeze. I was able to pour a concrete pad and form it, and build this entire shed in two days. This being said, the directions could be a little more clearcut when it comes to the doors. This should be the hardest part of the entire assembly. One key take away from the build, is that if you run into a situation where you feel like the holes are not aligning, understand that every piece has a specific place to go. Even if it seems like you have multiples of the same piece, This build requires each piece to go to its specific spot. If You are incapable of critical thinking, then stay away from this entire entirely. You’re better off spending a couple thousand dollars and getting a shed company to deliver you one. All in all, I would say it’s definitely worth the money. It doesn’t have the sturdiness of materials, but when you build it correctly, the unit itself is pretty strong. My best advice is to reassemble it before screwing in anything. Make sure everything lines up. Also, a flat surface is crucial. If you try building this in your backyard on the grass and have a lumpy yard nothing is going to line up. It’s Best to build it in your driveway or somewhere with a nice flat surface. Then, have somebody help you carry it to its resting place. If the holes do not line up, it’s because it’s not the right piece. Best of luck!
