❓ Frequently Asked Questions – 32.5" Power Tiller

1. What type of soil can this tiller handle?

This 7HP tiller is designed for tough, compacted, and even virgin soil. The 6 counter‑rotating tines provide excellent bite. For extremely hard ground, we recommend moistening the soil a day before and making an initial shallow pass (4‑5 inches), then a deeper pass at full 10".

2. How do I move it without the tines engaging?

The tiller features a self‑propelled drive system – when the tines are engaged, the wheels pull the machine forward. To move it without tilling, simply disengage the tines (if equipped with a separate clutch) or tip the machine back slightly so the tines clear the ground. Some users also roll it on the wheels by lifting the handle slightly.

3. Why can't this tiller be shipped to California?

The engine is EPA‑certified for all states except California, because the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has stricter emission standards for small off‑road engines. This model does not meet those additional requirements, so we cannot sell or ship to CA addresses. All other states are fine.

4. What maintenance does it need before first use?

Before starting: add engine oil (SAE 30) to the crankcase, fill with fresh unleaded gasoline, and check gear oil level in the transmission (use SAE 75/80 gear oil). The manual provides detailed step‑by‑step instructions. After the first 5 hours, change engine oil and check tine bolts for tightness.

5. What is covered under the 3‑month warranty?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 3 months from delivery. It does not cover normal wear (tines, belts, engine oil), damage from misuse, or unauthorized modifications. Within the first 7 days, if you experience a quality issue, we'll arrange a refund or replacement with return shipping paid by us.

🛡️ 3‑Month Warranty + 7‑Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If any manufacturing defect arises within 3 months, contact us. Within 7 days of delivery, we offer a full refund or replacement for quality issues (seller pays return shipping). Normal wear, abuse, or modifications are not covered.
🚫 Not for sale in California – EPA certified for the other 49 states.
