The chain is fine...but I ordered the wrong size. Nine links of the chain I ordered equals six of the size I wanted. My error...
How can I straighten out the springs? I can't use them coil uo as is.

When your build demands a bearing that fits where standard units simply won't, engineers, robotics hobbyists, and RC builders consistently run into the same wall: off-the-shelf bearings are too thick, too heavy, or dimensionally inconsistent. These ultra-thin sealed deep groove ball bearings are designed specifically for applications where radial space is at a premium and dimensional accuracy is non-negotiable.
Each bearing features a chrome steel (GCr15) raceway with dual ZZ metal shields, available across ten size variants spanning inner diameters from 10 mm (0.394 in) to 30 mm (1.181 in) and outer diameters from 15 mm (0.591 in) to 37 mm (1.457 in). The ultra-thin cross-section — as slim as 4 mm (0.157 in) on the 67xx series — keeps rotating assemblies compact without sacrificing load capacity.
Typical use cases include 3D printer carriage axes, brushless motor shafts in FPV drones, camera gimbal pivot points, and compact gearbox assemblies where a standard 6200-series bearing would add unwanted bulk. The ZZ shield retains factory-applied grease and blocks particulate ingress, making these bearings suitable for dusty workshop environments and enclosed mechanical enclosures alike.
Both sides are enclosed with pressed-steel shields that retain lubricant and block dust and debris without adding significant width to the bearing cross-section.
The 67xx series measures just 4 mm (0.157 in) wide, enabling use in slim rotating assemblies, gimbal frames, and compact motor mounts where standard bearings cannot fit.
Hardened GCr15 chrome steel provides consistent surface finish and fatigue resistance across the full range of radial and axial loads typical of light-to-medium duty applications.
From 6700ZZ (10×15×4 mm) to 6706ZZ (30×37×4 mm), select the exact bore and OD combination you need without hunting across multiple product pages.
Factory-applied grease is sealed inside the ZZ shields, so bearings can be pressed or slid into housings and put into service immediately without additional lubrication steps.
Available in 1, 5, or 10-piece packs — order a single unit for prototyping or a 10-pack for production runs and maintenance stock, with per-unit cost decreasing at higher quantities.

The 67xx series (6700ZZ, 6701ZZ–6706ZZ) has a 4 mm width, making it ideal for slim assemblies like gimbals, thin motor mounts, and compact robotics joints. The 62xx series (6200ZZ, 6201ZZ) is wider (9–10 mm) and handles higher axial and radial loads, suiting heavier-duty shafts and gearboxes. Match the width to your housing depth first, then verify load requirements.
ZZ indicates dual metal shields on both sides of the bearing. The shields retain factory-applied grease inside the raceway and block external contaminants. Under normal operating conditions these bearings do not require re-greasing. If operating in high-temperature or high-speed environments beyond the rated range, consult the bearing's load and speed specifications before extending service intervals.
These bearings use GCr15 chrome steel, which offers good hardness and fatigue resistance but is not stainless steel. For outdoor, marine, or high-humidity applications, consider adding a protective coating or selecting a stainless steel bearing variant. In dry indoor environments and enclosed enclosures, the ZZ shields provide adequate protection against light dust and moisture.
Three variants share a 10 mm inner diameter: 6700ZZ (10×15×4 mm), 6800ZZ (10×19×4 mm), and 6200ZZ (10×30×9 mm). The difference is the outer diameter and width. Choose based on your housing bore: 15 mm OD for the tightest fit, 19 mm OD for moderate housings, or 30 mm OD when you need a larger outer race for higher load distribution.
Yes. The ultra-thin 67xx series is widely used in 3D printer carriage linear guides, RC car differential assemblies, and brushless motor front/rear shafts. Verify the shaft diameter and housing bore match your selected variant. For FPV drone motors, confirm the motor's bearing seat dimensions against the OD and width of your chosen size before ordering.
Always apply press force to the bearing ring that matches the interference fit surface — press on the inner ring when fitting to a shaft, and on the outer ring when fitting into a housing bore. Never press through the balls or shields. Use a bearing press tool or a correctly sized socket that contacts only the ring face. Avoid hammering directly on the shield face, as this can deform the metal shield and contaminate the grease.
For prototyping or a single repair, the 1-piece option lets you validate fit and performance before committing to larger quantities. For production runs or maintenance stock, the 5-piece and 10-piece packs offer a lower per-unit cost. If you need quantities beyond 10 pieces, contact us to confirm bulk pricing and availability.
