Description

🎨 M2 Flat Knurled Thumb Screws – Anodized Aluminum Hand Grip Knob for PC Cases & Modding (4–15mm Lengths)

You’ve spent hours on your PC build – custom cables, RGB lighting, a perfect color theme. Then you screw it shut with dull silver thumbscrews. These M2 anodized aluminum thumb screws change that. The flat knurled head gives you a secure fingertip grip, and the vibrant anodized finish adds a pop of colour to side panels, hard drive cages, or expansion slots. Choose from pink, gold, royal blue, sky blue, green, purple, or orange. The lightweight aluminum won’t weigh down your case, and the 4mm head diameter is small enough for tight spaces. Available in stud lengths from 4mm to 15mm (under head). Perfect for computer cases, power supplies, chassis side plates, hard drives, optical drives, network cards, graphics cards, sound cards, and any custom modification.

✨ Key Features – M2 Anodized Aluminum Thumb Screws

  • 🎨 Vibrant anodized colours – Choose pink, gold, royal blue, sky blue, green, purple, or orange to match your build or add a custom accent.
  • 🔘 Flat knurled head (4mm x 4mm) – Small, low‑profile head with diamond knurling for secure fingertip grip without tools.
  • ⚖️ Lightweight 6061 aluminum – Much lighter than steel, non‑magnetic, and corrosion‑resistant thanks to anodizing.
  • 🛡️ Durable anodized finish – Resists scratches, fading, and oxidation. Keeps its colour for years.
  • 📏 M2 metric thread (2mm diameter, 0.4mm pitch) – Standard size for many PC components, small electronics, and hobby gear.
  • 📐 Stud lengths 4–15mm (under head) – Fully threaded for maximum grip in tapped holes or with an M2 nut. Tolerance ±0.1 mm.
  • 💻 Ideal for PC modding & electronics – Computer cases, power supplies, chassis side plates, hard disks, optical drives, network cards, graphics cards, sound cards, and custom modifications.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions – M2 Anodized Thumb Screws

1. Will these fit my standard PC case side panel?

Most PC cases use 6‑32 UNC or M3 thumbscrews, not M2. M2 is smaller – it’s common for hard drives, optical drives, some GPU brackets, and small form‑factor cases. Please check your original screw thread before ordering. If you need M3 or 6‑32, we have other listings.

2. Are these screws fully threaded? How do I measure the length?

Yes – all M2 screws are fully threaded from under the head to the tip. The length is the stud length (e.g., 6mm means 6mm of thread under the head). The 4mm head is not included.

3. Will the anodized colour fade or scratch easily?

Anodizing is a durable electrochemical finish that bonds to the aluminum. It resists fading and scratches far better than paint. Normal handling and screwdriver use (if any) won’t remove the colour.

4. Do I need a nut or washer with these thumb screws?

If your component has a pre‑tapped M2 hole (common on hard drives and optical drives), no nut is needed. For plain holes, use a standard M2 nut. A flat washer is optional for load distribution.

5. What is the head size? Is it comfortable to turn by hand?

The head is 4mm in diameter and 4mm tall – very compact. While smaller than typical thumbscrews, the fine knurling still provides good grip for fingertip tightening. Designed for tight spaces where a larger knob won’t fit.

6. Can I get other lengths or custom colours?

Yes – we offer custom lengths and additional colours (e.g., red, black) on request. Please contact customer service with your requirements.
