Most patio umbrellas solve one problem: daytime shade. Once the sun goes down, they become an obstacle in the dark. If you want a single outdoor shade solution that provides UV protection during the day and warm ambient lighting in the evening — without running extension cords or buying separate string lights — this 10 ft cantilever umbrella with 32 built-in solar LED lights is purpose-built for that dual-use setup.
The umbrella features a powder-coated steel pole in black with a taupe polyester canopy spanning 114 in. (~289 cm / ~10 ft) in diameter. The canopy is made from 100% polyester with UPF 50+ UV protection, water-repellent treatment, and European Standard Level 4 color fastness — designed to resist fading and maintain its taupe color through multiple seasons of outdoor exposure. A top wind vent promotes air circulation, keeping the shaded area cooler on hot days and reducing uplift pressure on the canopy in breezy conditions. The assembled height reaches 100 inches (~254 cm). Total weight is approximately 26 lbs (11.8 kg).
32 solar-powered LED lights are distributed across 8 ribs (4 lights per rib), creating a warm, even ambient glow across the entire canopy underside. The solar panel charges in 6–7 hours of direct sunlight and powers the lights for 6–8 hours after dark. A crank-lift mechanism opens and closes the canopy smoothly, and the easy-tilt system lets you adjust the shade angle to block the sun at any position throughout the day. A cross umbrella base is included. Note: this umbrella does not rotate.
Homeowners who host outdoor dinners, gatherings, or relaxed evenings on the patio and want a single structure that provides shade during the day and warm ambient lighting after sunset — without separate string lights or power outlets.
Pool owners and deck users who want a cantilever umbrella that keeps the pole out of the seating area, provides full overhead shade during the day, and creates a relaxing lit atmosphere for evening use.
Homeowners who want a versatile, freestanding shade solution that works across multiple outdoor settings — dining, lounging, reading — and transitions naturally from daytime shade to evening ambiance.
Homeowners who prefer solar-powered outdoor lighting solutions that don’t require electrical wiring, extension cords, or battery replacements — keeping the outdoor setup clean and energy-efficient.

The solar panel on top of the umbrella collects sunlight during the day and charges the built-in battery. After 6–7 hours of charging in direct sunlight, the 32 LED lights can run for 6–8 hours after dark. The solar cap must be plugged in before use. For best results, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day.
Yes, a cross umbrella base is included. However, a counterweight of approximately 260 lbs (118 kg) is required for safe outdoor use. You can use sandbags, bricks, or a weighted base bag to achieve the recommended counterweight. The umbrella should not be used without adequate counterweighting, especially in windy conditions.
The umbrella includes an easy-tilt system that lets you adjust the shade angle. However, it opens into one fixed position only and does not rotate. Plan your base placement accordingly to ensure the canopy covers your intended shade area throughout the day.
The top wind vent allows air to pass through the canopy rather than building up pressure underneath it. This reduces the risk of the umbrella inverting or lifting in gusty conditions and helps keep the shaded area beneath the canopy cooler on hot days.
The polyester canopy is water-repellent and can handle light rain. It is not rated as fully waterproof for heavy or sustained rainfall. We recommend closing the umbrella during storms and avoiding use in severe weather conditions.
Close the umbrella in bad weather to extend its service life. At the end of the season, fully close the canopy, disconnect the solar cap, and store the umbrella in a dry location. A protective cover (sold separately) is recommended for off-season storage. Wipe the canopy clean with a damp cloth as needed.
Assembly can be completed by one adult. The package includes assembly instructions and all required hardware. No additional tools are required. Partial assembly is needed before first use.
This umbrella is intended for residential use. For commercial applications such as café or restaurant patios, we recommend verifying that the umbrella’s specifications — including counterweight requirements and wind resistance — meet your local commercial outdoor furniture standards before purchasing.
