Very Nice General Purpose Screws for Metal or Wood

These are not black-oxide, they are actually stainless steel that have a shiny black finish. I wonder what kind of treatment that is? The screw heads will look good and should not corrode. With all the projects I do, it's nice to be able to find right-sized screws when you need them. This is a nice handy box.

Screws work great. These drill very nicely into pvc metal and wood. I like that I don't have to drill pilot holes in pvc. The assorted sizes are also convenient and I like the plastic box they came in. These also got wet and have not rusted

Great selection of lengths.

I keep these screws in my RV for repairs and replacing the ones that fall out. They are good screws with a nice black finish. The Phillips heads fit a number 2 bit well and they drive / drill extremely well. They are good quality and the price is a real bargain. Highly recommended.

Good quality self drilling stainless screws.

I like the compartment identification label attached to the top of the box. However, it would have been helpful to also include that same label inside the box attached to the back side of the cover. These stainless self drilling screws appear to be of good quality. They have been well machined with clean cuts and have a nice black zinc coating. The threads are deep and pronounced which will insure a secure grip. I like the large truss head which mostly eliminates the need for washers. Also, the screw heads are deep which will minimize stripping. I have already used some of these screws to mount brackets to a wall with steel studs. Although not necessary, I predrilled a small pilot hole in the stud to avoid slippage of the screw head. I was pleased with how secure the bracket was held on the wall with these screws.
