The bayonet-back variant has a locking tab on the rear that snaps into a compatible bayonet-slot wall plate or rail system — no screws needed for the hook itself. The plain-back (Without Bayonet) variant has a flat rear face with a mounting hole or slot for direct screw-fixing to any surface. Choose bayonet if you already have a compatible rail; choose plain-back for a clean screw-mount installation.
For lightweight utensils such as spatulas, ladles, and whisks, the Small (19×19mm) or Medium (19×25mm) sizes are typically sufficient. For heavier items like cast iron pans, colanders, or bundles of tools, the Large (22×32mm) or Plus (35×38mm) sizes provide a wider bearing surface and greater holding strength. 304 stainless steel offers good resistance to moisture and light outdoor exposure, making these hooks suitable for covered garden sheds, pergolas, and sheltered outdoor walls. For fully exposed coastal or marine environments where salt spray is a factor, 316-grade stainless steel is recommended. These hooks are rated for light outdoor use, not prolonged saltwater exposure.
The Double S-Hook has an S-curve at both ends rather than a flat back, allowing it to hang freely between two points — for example, suspending a basket from a rail, linking chains, or hanging planters from a wire. It does not mount directly to a wall surface and is intended for suspended or linked hanging applications.
A standard 60–90cm kitchen rail typically accommodates 6–12 hooks depending on spacing and item size. The 10-pack covers most single-rail installations, while the 50-pack suits full kitchen fit-outs or multiple rails. For a single replacement hook, the 1-pack is the most economical choice.
The flat stainless steel profile is smooth and will not scratch tiles under normal use. For bayonet-back variants mounted on a rail plate, there is no direct contact between the hook and the tile surface. For plain-back variants screwed directly to tiles, use a rubber or silicone washer behind the mounting plate to protect the tile glaze and prevent any micro-scratching.
The plain-back (Without Bayonet) variants can be screw-mounted to pegboard backing panels. The bayonet variants are designed for bayonet-slot rail systems and may not be compatible with standard pegboard hole patterns.
