Match the model number to your existing sprocket. The model number (e.g., #40) defines the pitch and roller dimensions. If you know the pitch — for example 1/2 inch — that corresponds to #40 (08B-1). Check your sprocket's stamped model number or measure the center-to-center distance between three consecutive pins and divide by two to get the pitch.
304 stainless steel offers good tensile strength for light-to-medium duty power transmission.
