Use a uPVC / PVC-U solvent cement rated for pressure pipe — commonly labelled as "PVC solvent weld cement" or "CPVC cement" (check compatibility). Yes. uPVC is chemically resistant to salt water, common aquarium additives, and calcium/magnesium supplements used in reef systems. It is not affected by the salt concentrations found in typical marine aquarium or aquaculture environments. Avoid exposure to strong oxidising acids or ketone-based solvents outside of the solvent cement application step.

A Straight Coupling joins two pipes of the same diameter end-to-end — used to extend a run or repair a section. A Reducing Connector joins two pipes of different diameters (e.g., 50 mm main to 32 mm branch), allowing you to step down flow to a smaller pipe without a separate reducer bush.
