Use a heavy‑duty outdoor extension cord rated for at least 15 amps (12 or 14 gauge). Keep the cord length under 100 feet to avoid voltage drop. Always plug into a GFCI‑protected outlet for safety.
The 12A motor and manganese steel tines are effective in moderately compacted soil and established garden beds. For extremely hard or clay soil, we suggest moistening the ground a day prior and making several shallow passes rather than one deep pass. It's not designed for breaking sod but works great for routine cultivation.
The handle folds down easily, reducing the tiller's footprint. Clean the tines after each use to prevent rust, and hang it on a wall hook or store it on a shelf. It fits in most sheds or garages with minimal space.
If the tines hit a large root, rock, or other obstruction, the motor will automatically shut off to prevent internal damage. Simply remove the obstruction, wait a few seconds, and restart the tiller. This feature greatly extends the lifespan of the machine.
Assembly is minimal – typically attaching the handle and securing the tines. All necessary hardware and tools are included, along with a clear instruction manual. Most customers complete assembly in 10–15 minutes.
