I had often thought about how a heat-shrink tubing could solve a number of different household repair problems. The difficulty was I couldn't find a place to procure any, none of the big box hardware stores had it, and I was beginning to lose hope. So when I saw that it was available inside the MIX Wholesale Catalogue, I jumped at the chance to purchase it. Sure enough, I was performing my first household repair within seconds of receiving the package at my door. In this case, I was able to use it to shore up the connection between a fraying iPhone charger cable, and the plug. The cable was definitely on its last legs. (see photo attached) Can't wait to find other uses for heat shrink tubing around my house.

I bought this just to do a splice on 2 very small wires and figured I only needed one size so I was hesitant to purchase this because of all the different sizes I didn't feel I would need. I'm glad I did because it turns out I actually needed 2 different sizes to do the job, one to protect one wire and the other to protect both the wires. It worked just great using a heat gun and there are plenty to keep in stock and having all the different sizes means you'll have whatever you need when the time comes. Great price so it was a great value.
