Worked great! Used to create a spot in my firewall to install a 5/16" bump stop for my clutch pedal as well as 1/4" for mounting a plate for my shifter hump hole.

Hubby asked me to order one of these so he could fix The garage door. This was the most affordable hand rivet I could find with the best reviews.
The bolt holes had been stripped and he wanted an actual threaded hole rather than just sheet metal. This worked perfectly and so much more cost effective than hiring someone to fix it.
It has come in handy much more than he anticipated. He also utilized it to install custom shelving in our basement.
It’s a quality tool, designed to last, solid and durable.
Also The handles are nicely cushioned saving his hands from calluses and making it comfortable to use.

I had never used one of these before. I’m very satisfied with the result. Installing threaded mounts for m4 screws to my car to mount new speakers went smoothly with no issues. I just needed to open up the holes with a step drill bit to fit the appropriate rivnut.

Had no problem setting 3/8 inch stainless steel rivnuts for my project.

The tool felt solid and didn't strain to set the harder stainless steel material in one of the largest sizes I had. Only the 1/2 inch is larger, but I didn't have a need to use any of those.

This tool and rivnut set is an excellent value, especially if you can get it on sale, like I did. Just be careful when setting smaller size inserts, to avoid breaking the mandrels.

Very nice craftsmanship, a lot of inserts came with it, BOTH STANDARD AND METRIC SIZES!

Tool works good. Bought extra Inserts , they should have been shipped in bags inside plastic box. Over 800 inserts mixed up by the time they arrived.

have used several times other then the directions being small and not very helpful the tool is pretty easy to figure out. and has preformed as expected

I like this tool a lot. It was still difficult to install a stainless steel threaded insert with it, but it still worked. It just took a lot more muscle than the handles suggest. It mounted the insert very securely and I was able to create a perfect new ground lug location in my sons car for grounding his amplifier. It really works well and I am glad I bought it.

I've only used the 1/4 inch so far but I've done about 200+ and it's doing great. Took a few tests to get the adjustments dialed in. It was a little tricky but worth it.

used this item right away -- worked great -- a plastic carry case would be nice

This rivet nut setter tool is ideal for my work as a food service technician. The range of sizes in SAE and Metric almost guarantees you'll be able to complete your job and the thread pitch for each size is common. I have already used this for several jobs including installing a Plexiglas sneeze guard which included drilling all new holes and replacing a damaged rivet nut in an oven, far easier with this setter than my lever style setter as long as there is sufficient room in front for the tool to fit.

It works great, can set stainless rivnuts with minimal effort. Comes with a lot of mandrels and rivnuts included as well. Very happy with it overall.

I bought the item few months ago, and it was in the box.
When the time came to use it, it wasn’t working well (it was broken or something) !
I don’t know what to do!! I never used any of the nuts or tools, they still sealed in there cover.

I did not know what a rivet nut was until I bought some parts for my jeep and went to put them on, quickly realizing I needed to learn! Did some googling watch some YouTube, bought this product, and completed my installation without a hitch first try! Highly recommend

Works great! Just make sure you read how it works properly! I busted the 10-24 stud! Now I have to see if I can just get that stud from the company. But the product works awesome

Just remember not to expand excessively, or threads will see damage and bind to the tool. Used properly, it's a dream.

It's a great tool and awesome kit. Just remember you need the room to open up the hole larger than your bolt as the rivnut is much larger.
