Description

5M Timing Belt Pulley — Precision Synchronous Wheel for Reliable Belt Drives

When your motion control system demands consistent torque transfer without slip, a worn or mismatched pulley is the first point of failure. These 5M pitch timing belt pulleys are engineered for engineers, makers, and automation builders who need dimensionally accurate, drop-in-ready components for 5M synchronous belt systems.

Each pulley is CNC machined from aluminum alloy, available in 26, 28, 30, and 32 tooth counts across BF-Type (flanged) and K-Type configurations. Bore options span 6mm to 30mm, with standard round bores and keyway variants (3×1.4mm, 4×1.8mm, 5×2.3mm, 6×2.8mm, 8×3.3mm) to suit both shaft-collar and keyed-shaft installations. Belt width compatibility covers 15mm, 20mm, and 26mm 5M belts.

Ideal for CNC router axes, 3D printer extruder drives, conveyor systems, robotic arm joints, and custom automation rigs where 5M HTD or 5M GT2 belts are specified. The flanged BF-Type design prevents belt walk-off under lateral load, while the K-Type suits compact inline drive layouts.

Compatible with standard 5M pitch synchronous belts (HTD 5M / GT2 5M), belt widths 15mm, 20mm, and 26mm.

✅ Key Features of These 5M Timing Belt Pulleys

⚙️ Multiple Tooth Counts
Available in 26T, 28T, 30T, and 32T — select the ratio that matches your drive speed and torque requirements.
🔩 BF-Type & K-Type Configurations
BF-Type includes integrated flanges to keep the belt centered; K-Type offers a slimmer profile for space-constrained assemblies.
📐 Wide Bore Range
Round bores from 6mm to 30mm, plus keyway variants (3×1.4mm up to 8×3.3mm) for positive shaft engagement without set-screw slip.
🏗️ Three Belt Width Options
Fits 15mm, 20mm, and 26mm wide 5M belts — choose the width that matches your existing belt or load rating.
🔧 CNC Machined Aluminum
Lightweight yet rigid construction with consistent tooth profile geometry for low-noise, low-vibration operation across RPM ranges.
📦 Sold Individually (×1)
Each listing is for one pulley. Order the quantity you need for your drive system — single-axis or multi-axis builds.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What belt pitch is this pulley designed for?
This pulley is designed exclusively for 5M pitch synchronous belts (5mm tooth pitch), including HTD 5M and GT2 5M profiles. Do not use with 3M, 8M, or other pitch belts as tooth geometry will not match.
How do I choose between BF-Type and K-Type?
BF-Type pulleys have integrated side flanges that prevent the belt from drifting off the pulley under lateral forces — recommended for most open-loop drive systems. K-Type pulleys have no flanges and are suited for guided belt paths or where axial space is limited.
What does the bore notation like "12mm (4×1.8mm)" mean?
The first number is the bore diameter (e.g., 12mm). The notation in parentheses (e.g., 4×1.8mm) describes the keyway dimensions: width × depth. A keyway bore requires a matching key and keyway on your shaft for positive torque transmission. Plain bore variants (e.g., "12mm" without parentheses) use set screws only.
Which bore size should I select for my motor shaft?
Select a bore that matches your motor or drive shaft diameter exactly. For shafts with a keyway, choose the matching keyway variant. If your shaft is between standard sizes, choose the next size up and use a shaft adapter or bore it to size with a lathe.
Are these pulleys compatible with GT2 5M belts?
Yes. GT2 5M and HTD 5M belts share the same 5mm pitch and are generally interchangeable with these pulleys. Verify belt width matches your selected pulley variant (15mm, 20mm, or 26mm).
Can I use this pulley for high-speed applications?
These aluminum pulleys are suitable for typical servo and stepper motor drive speeds found in CNC, robotics, and automation. For very high RPM or high-temperature environments, verify your specific application requirements. The aluminum construction keeps rotational inertia low, which benefits dynamic positioning systems.
Is the pulley sold as a set or individually?
Each order is for one (1) pulley. If your drive system requires two pulleys (driver and driven), please order the quantity you need. Matching 5M belts are available separately in our store.
