The bore is sized for a standard 6 mm diameter shaft or an M6 axle bolt (thread diameter 6 mm). The bore is machined to a close sliding fit — the wheel spins freely on the shaft via its ball bearings rather than rotating on the bore surface itself, so no additional bushing is required.

Both POM and PP are moisture-resistant plastics that will not rust or corrode. The sealed ball bearings provide basic moisture protection. For prolonged outdoor exposure or immersion, ensure the bearing seals remain intact and consider periodic inspection. Neither material is rated for continuous submersion or UV-intensive outdoor use without additional protective measures.
