1. Are the nuts included for every screw? What type of nut is it?
Yes – each screw comes with a matching A2 stainless steel hex nut of the same thread size. The nuts are standard metric hex nuts (DIN 934 or equivalent). They are fully compatible with the screws and provide excellent locking strength.
2. How do I measure the length of a pan head screw?
For pan head screws (DIN 7985), the length is measured from the underside of the head to the tip. The head itself is not included. So an “M4 x 10mm” screw has a 10mm long threaded shaft under the head.
3. Can I use these screws outdoors or in saltwater?
A2 stainless (304) is highly corrosion‑resistant and suitable for outdoor use, including garden furniture, marine‑adjacent applications, and high‑humidity areas. For continuous saltwater immersion, we recommend A4 (316) stainless, but for most outdoor and coastal use, A2 is excellent and will not rust.
4. Are these screws fully threaded? What about longer lengths?
All screws up to 50‑60mm length (depending on diameter) are fully threaded. Longer screws (e.g., M8 x 100mm) may have a partial thread (unthreaded shank near the head). If you need fully threaded on a longer screw, please contact us for availability.
