1. Are these screws strong enough for structural applications?
PC plastic has good mechanical strength but is not as strong as metal. They are best for lightweight assemblies, electrical insulation, and corrosion‑prone environments. For heavy load‑bearing, use metal fasteners. For electronics, medical devices, and marine equipment, PC screws are ideal.
2. Can I use these screws outdoors? Will they yellow?
Polycarbonate is UV‑sensitive. Prolonged direct sunlight may cause yellowing and embrittlement. For outdoor use, we recommend black nylon (UV‑stabilized) or stainless steel. These clear PC screws are best for indoor applications or behind UV‑protective covers.
3. Are the nuts included? Can I buy screws only?
This listing offers both screws and hex nuts. You can purchase screws alone, nuts alone, or screw‑nut sets – please select from the dropdown. Matching washers are also available in our store.
4. Are these screws fully threaded? How do I measure length?
Yes – all screws are fully threaded. For round/pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head to the tip (grip length). For flat head screws (if available separately), length is overall including head. See product images for details.
5. Can I use these screws with a power drill?
Yes – but use low speed and a light touch. Over‑torquing can strip the Phillips recess or crack the head. Hand tightening is recommended for final seating.
6. Do you offer other colours or just clear?
