1. How do I measure the length of a pan head screw?
For pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head (the flat bearing surface) to the tip. The head itself is NOT included. So an “M4 x 20mm” screw has a 20mm long threaded shaft under the head. All our lengths follow this standard.
2. Are the nuts included? What type are they?
Yes – each screw comes with one M4 hex nut. The nuts are the same zinc plated carbon steel and have a standard 7mm across‑flats size. You can use a 7mm wrench or socket.
3. Are these screws fully threaded?
Yes – all M4 screws in this set are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving you maximum grip even in shallow holes or when using the nut.
4. Will the zinc plating rust? Can I use these screws outdoors?
