Description

🔩 M1–M6 Phillips Pan Head Round Machine Screws – Carbon Steel, Fully Threaded (2–100mm Lengths)

You’re working on a small electronic device, tightening a hinge on a wooden box, or assembling a model – and you need screws that are strong, affordable, and easy to drive. These M1 through M6 pan head round screws are made from carbon steel, offering good tensile strength and toughness for everyday fastening. The low, rounded pan head sits neatly on the surface, providing a clean look without needing a countersink. The Phillips drive works with standard crosshead screwdrivers. Fully threaded, with length measured under the head. Available in diameters M1, M1.2, M1.4, M1.6, M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, and M6, with lengths from 2mm up to 100mm. Ideal for electronics, furniture, hobby projects, and general repairs.

✨ Key Features – Carbon Steel Pan Head Phillips Screws

  • 🔘 Round pan head design – Low profile, wide bearing surface. No countersinking needed – sits neatly on the material surface.
  • 📏
Phillips drive – Standard cross recess works with common screwdrivers. Easy to install and remove.
  • 💪 Carbon steel construction – High tensile strength, good yield strength, and excellent toughness. Resists breaking under load.
  • 🧪 Corrosion resistance – Maintains good performance in humid, mildly acidic/alkaline environments. Not easy to rust for indoor use.
  • 📏 Wide metric range M1 to M6 – From micro‑screws (M1) to medium duty (M6). Covers electronics, models, furniture, and light machinery.
  • 📐 Lengths 2mm to 100mm (under head) – Example: M3 x 10mm means thread diameter 3mm, length from under head to tip is 10mm. Fully threaded.
  • Smooth, neat appearance – Precision threads and smooth head finish for a tidy look on visible assemblies.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions – Carbon Steel Pan Head Screws

1. How do I measure the length of a pan head screw?

For pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head (the flat bearing surface) to the tip. The head itself is NOT included. So an “M3 x 10mm” screw has a 10mm long threaded shaft under the head. All our lengths follow this standard.

2. Are these screws fully threaded? What about long lengths like 100mm?

Yes – all screws in this range (M1 to M6, up to 100mm) are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving you maximum grip in blind holes or when using nuts.

3. Will carbon steel screws rust? Can I use them outdoors?

Carbon steel screws are best for indoor use. They have moderate corrosion resistance (especially with a plating – check your selected finish). For continuous outdoor or high‑humidity environments, we recommend stainless steel screws. For most electronics, furniture, and workshop projects, carbon steel is perfectly adequate.

4. What Phillips screwdriver size do I need for M1 to M6?

For M1–M1.6: #000 or #00. M2–M2.5: #0. M3–M4: #1. M5–M6: #2. Always use a driver that fits snugly to avoid cam‑out and head damage.

5. Can I use these screws with a nut? What size nut fits?

Yes – these are machine screws. Use standard metric nuts of the same thread size (e.g., M3 nut for M3 screw). For wood or plastic, drill a pilot hole and use a threaded insert or nut on the back.

6. Do you offer other head styles like flat or button head?

This listing is for round pan head. We also carry countersunk flat head and button head screws in our store – please check other listings.
