A Phillips driver will fit, but it may cam‑out (slip) more easily and can damage the recess. For best results, use a genuine Pozidriv (Pozi) bit. Pozi bits are widely available and clearly marked with a “PZ” label (e.g., PZ1, PZ2).
2. How do I measure the length of these pan head screws?
For pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head (the flat bearing surface) to the tip. The head is NOT included. So an “M3 x 10mm” screw has a 10mm long threaded shaft under the head. This matches our listing.
3. Are these screws fully threaded?
Yes – all M2.5 and M3 screws in this range are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving you maximum grip in shallow holes.
4. Will the black nickel finish rust? Can I use these outdoors?
