1. How do I measure the length of a pan head screw?
For pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head (the flat bearing surface) to the tip. The head itself is NOT included. So an “M3 x 8mm” screw has an 8mm long threaded shaft under the head. This matches our listing.
2. Are these screws fully threaded?
Yes – all M2, M2.5, and M3 screws in this range are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving you maximum grip in blind holes or when using nuts.
3. Can I use a standard Phillips driver on these Pozidriv screws?
Yes – a Phillips driver will fit, but a Pozidriv (Pozi) bit provides a much tighter fit and reduces cam‑out. For best results, use a PZ0 or PZ1 bit.
4. Will the black zinc finish rust? Can I use these screws outdoors?
