🔩 A2 Stainless Steel Phillips Countersunk Machine Screws with Nuts – M2 to M10, Flat Head, Rust‑Resistant
You’re mounting a hinge flush to a door, assembling outdoor furniture, or repairing a boat – and you need the screw head to sit perfectly level with the surface. These Phillips countersunk flat head screws come with matching A2 stainless steel nuts, so you get a complete fastening solution in one order. Made from 304 (A2) stainless, they resist rust even in humid or coastal environments. The 90° flat head sinks cleanly into a countersunk hole, leaving a smooth, snag‑free finish. Available from M2 (tiny) up to M10 (heavy duty), with screw lengths from 3mm to 180mm. No more hunting for matching nuts – we’ve included them.
✨ Why This Screw + Nut Set Stands Out
- 🧪 A2 stainless steel (304 grade) – Excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. Suitable for outdoor, marine, and harsh environments. Nuts and screws are both A2.
- 🔽 Countersunk flat head (90°) – Sits flush or below the surface when used with a countersunk hole. Perfect for tight spaces and smooth finishes.
- 📦
Phillips drive for fast installation – Standard cross slot works with any Phillips screwdriver. Smooth, burr‑free surface prevents slipping during driving.
- 📏 Sharp, precise threads – Cleanly rolled threads resist deformation and stripping. Consistent pitch ensures reliable engagement with the included nuts.
- 📦 Complete set – screws + matching nuts – Each screw comes with a corresponding A2 stainless nut in the same thread size. No extra ordering.
- 🏭 Wide size & length range – Diameters M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10. Lengths from 3mm to 180mm (overall length including head).
- 🚗 Versatile applications – Car and motorcycle repair, DIY inventions, home and office appliances, machinery, boat assembly, and general industrial use.

🌊 Built for harsh environments – A2 stainless (304) provides superior rust resistance for outdoor use, humidity, and mild salt exposure. For continuous saltwater immersion, consider upgrading to A4 (316) – contact us for custom orders.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions – Countersunk Screw & Nut Sets
1. Do I need to countersink the hole for these screws?
Yes – for the flat head to sit flush with the surface, you’ll need to drill a 90° countersunk hole. If you drive them into a straight hole, the head will sit proud. Use a countersink bit the same size as the screw head. In soft wood, you can sometimes tap it in, but proper countersinking looks much better and prevents splitting.
2. Are the nuts included for every screw size?
Yes – each screw comes with one matching A2 stainless hex nut in the same thread size. If you need additional nuts or lock nuts, you can select extra quantities in the options (contact us for bulk).
3. Will these screws rust if used outdoors or near the ocean?
A2 (304) stainless offers excellent resistance for most outdoor applications – rain, humidity, and even mild coastal spray. For permanent saltwater immersion (boat hulls below waterline) or heavy chemical exposure, we recommend A4 (316) stainless. But for garden furniture, decking, and general outdoor use, A2 is perfectly reliable and will not rust like ordinary steel.
4. How do I measure the length of a countersunk screw?
For countersunk (flat head) screws, the length is measured overall – from the top of the head to the tip. Place the screw head‑down on a ruler; the measurement includes the head. Our lengths (3–180mm) are overall. This is different from pan head screws where length is under the head.
5. What Phillips bit size should I use for each M size?
M2–M2.5 use PH0, M3–M4 use PH1, M5–M6 use PH2, M8–M10 use PH3. Using the correct size prevents stripping the cross recess and ensures good torque transfer.
6. Are these screws fully threaded?
Most lengths up to about 60mm are fully threaded. For longer lengths (80mm and above), there may be a short unthreaded shank under the head. If you need fully threaded for a specific long size, please contact us to verify before ordering.
