1. How do I know which size cap to order for my furniture?
Measure the diameter of the existing screw hole (or the recess where the screw head sits). Choose a cap size that matches or is slightly larger than the hole – the plastic has a little give. For example, if the hole is 7.8mm, the 8mm cap will fit snugly. If you’re unsure, order the next size up and lightly sand the edge if needed.
2. Do I need glue to keep the caps from falling out?
No – these caps are designed as press‑fit inserts. The slight interference fit holds them securely. In normal use (table tops, chair backs, etc.), they won’t fall out. If you need to remove them, you can pry them out with a small flathead screwdriver or a knife tip.
3. What colors are available for each size? Why do I need to leave a note?
Not every size is available in every color. Black is the most common across all sizes. Some sizes also come in white, brown, red, or gray – but inventory varies. By leaving a color note with your order, we know exactly which color you want. If you don’t leave a note, we send black by default. Check the product images for size‑specific color availability.
4. Can I use these caps outdoors or in a bathroom?
Yes – the plastic is corrosion‑resistant and handles humidity well. For direct sunlight exposure, black caps may last longer than lighter colors (which can fade over time). They are not designed for submersion in water, but splashes and bathroom humidity are fine.
