Match the diameter to your machine's pulley groove width — typically 2mm–4mm for small sewing machines and hobby lathes, 5mm–8mm for mid-size equipment, and 9mm–12mm for heavier conveyor or industrial drives. For length, measure the belt path around all pulleys and add roughly 5–10% for the splice overlap. Available lengths are 1M (≈3.3 ft), 3M (≈9.8 ft), 5M (≈16.4 ft), and 10M (≈32.8 ft).

Polyurethane is generally resistant to oils, mild chemicals, and moisture, making it more suitable for light-duty damp environments than rubber alternatives. However, prolonged UV exposure or immersion in harsh solvents may degrade the material over time. For outdoor or chemically aggressive settings, contact us to confirm compatibility.

These are meltable PU cords — heat both cut ends (typically with a lighter or heat tool) until they become tacky, then press them together firmly for a few seconds. The result is a seamless, nearly invisible joint. No adhesives or mechanical connectors are needed in most cases. Allow the joint to cool fully before running the belt under load.

PU round drive belts are commonly used in sewing machines, vintage lathes, woodworking equipment, small conveyor systems, packaging machinery, and other light-to-medium industrial drives with round-groove pulleys. Always verify your pulley groove diameter before ordering.

Choose 1M for a single belt on a small machine. Order 3M or 5M if you need multiple belts or want spare material on hand. The 10M roll is the most economical option for workshops that replace belts regularly or need to cut custom lengths for several machines.

When fused correctly, the heat-spliced joint is generally as strong as the belt itself and holds well under normal continuous operation. Ensure both ends are cleanly cut and fully melted before joining. Avoid over-heating, which can weaken the splice zone.
