The chain is fine...but I ordered the wrong size. Nine links of the chain I ordered equals six of the size I wanted. My error...
How can I straighten out the springs? I can't use them coil uo as is.

When your project demands exact dimensions and reliable conductivity, off-the-shelf copper stock rarely fits the bill. Whether you're a hobbyist building RF shielding, an artisan crafting decorative metalwork, or a technician repairing circuit boards, sourcing flat copper stock in the right thickness and size is a constant challenge. These pure copper sheets and foils are available in a wide range of thicknesses and sheet sizes, letting you order exactly what you need without waste.
Each piece is cut from pure copper (C11000 / ETP grade, ≥99.9% Cu), available in thicknesses from 0.1 mm (approx. 0.004 in) up to 0.8 mm (approx. 0.031 in). Sheet formats include compact 200×300 mm (7.9×11.8 in) and 305×305 mm (12×12 in) squares, as well as long-strip 100×1000 mm (3.9×39.4 in) rolls — ideal for wrapping, banding, or continuous runs. Surface finish is mill-bright with a smooth, burr-minimized edge.
Typical use cases include EMI/RF shielding panels for electronics enclosures, heat-spreader shims in PC modding and thermal management, decorative inlay and repoussé metalwork, grounding straps and bus bars in electrical installations, and custom gaskets or washers for plumbing and HVAC applications.

For flexible shielding, EMI foil tape replacement, or thin decorative inlay, choose 0.1–0.2 mm. For heat-spreader shims and moderate structural applications, 0.3–0.5 mm is a practical range. For gaskets, bus bars, or applications requiring rigidity, 0.6–0.8 mm provides better mechanical strength. If you are unsure, contact us with your application details.
These sheets are C11000 Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper with a minimum purity of 99.9% Cu. This is not brass, bronze, or a copper-clad material — it is solid pure copper throughout, which is why it offers near-maximum electrical and thermal conductivity.
Copper naturally oxidises when exposed to air and moisture, forming a brownish or greenish patina. This patina is a stable oxide layer that actually slows further corrosion. For indoor electronics or sealed enclosures, tarnishing is cosmetic only and does not affect conductivity significantly. If appearance is critical, apply a clear lacquer or store sheets in sealed packaging.
Yes. C11000 ETP copper is fully compatible with standard tin-lead and lead-free solder alloys, as well as silver brazing. Use a rosin or no-clean flux for electronics work. For plumbing or HVAC brazing, use an appropriate copper-rated flux. Lightly abrade the surface before soldering if the sheet has developed any oxide layer.
Thinner sheets (0.1–0.3 mm) can be cut with heavy-duty scissors, a craft knife and straight edge, or tin snips. Thicker sheets (0.4–0.8 mm) are best cut with aviation snips, a metal shear, angle grinder with a thin cutting disc, or CNC laser/waterjet for precision cuts. Always deburr edges after cutting to avoid sharp burrs.
The 305×305 mm square format is ideal for panel shielding, flat gaskets, decorative tiles, and projects where you need a roughly equal width and length. The 100×1000 mm long strip is better suited for wrapping around pipes or cables, creating continuous bus bars, banding applications, or any project where one dimension needs to be significantly longer than the other.
The 0.1 mm × 200×300 mm variant is listed as "2Pcs" per unit in the variant name — meaning one unit of Qty 1 includes 2 pieces. All other thickness/size combinations are sold as individual sheets per piece count selected. Please check the variant name carefully before ordering.
