The End Cap (Blue, Grey, or White) is a solid threaded plug that screws onto a male pipe end to seal it completely. The Gasket is a flat rubber sealing ring used inside a fitting or union to create a watertight face seal — it is not a standalone pipe cap. Choose the End Cap to blank off a pipe; choose the Gasket as a replacement sealing washer for an existing fitting.
