The gap at the bottom of a wooden door is one of the most common sources of cold drafts, dust infiltration, and noise bleed between rooms. This door bottom seal strip presses into or mounts along the door bottom edge to close that gap—without tools, adhesive, or permanent modification to the door.
Made from silicon rubber, the strip is available in three profiles—LQ6, LQ7, and LQ17 (thickened)—each suited to different door bottom gap sizes and door types. Five color options (black, gray, transparent, brown, white) allow the strip to blend with the door finish. Each unit is 1 meter (39") in length and can be cut to size.

LQ6 and LQ7 are standard-thickness profiles suited to typical interior door bottom gaps. LQ17 is a thickened profile designed for larger gaps or heavier doors where a more substantial seal is needed. Measure the gap between the bottom of your door and the floor when the door is closed to determine which profile is appropriate.
Close the door and slide a ruler or feeler gauge under the bottom edge to measure the gap height. For gaps up to approximately 8–10 mm, LQ6 or LQ7 will work. For gaps larger than 10 mm, choose the LQ17 thickened profile. When in doubt, size up—silicon rubber compresses to fill smaller gaps.
Yes. Cut to any length up to 1 meter using scissors or a utility knife. Measure your door width first and mark the strip before cutting. Cut at a straight 90° angle for a clean edge.
No. The soft silicon rubber body glides over floor surfaces without scratching. It is suitable for hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile carpet. The strip moves with the door as it opens and closes without snagging or dragging.
Yes. Silicon rubber is waterproof and moisture-resistant. It will not absorb water, swell, or degrade from rain exposure. For exterior doors, ensure the strip makes full contact with the threshold or floor surface when the door is closed for the best weather seal.
Measure and cut the strip to your door width. Depending on the profile, the strip either presses onto the door bottom edge or mounts to the door face with the included or separate adhesive. Close the door to verify the strip makes contact with the floor along its full length. Adjust the position if any gaps remain.
