For round pan head screws, length is measured from the underside of the head (the flat bearing surface) to the tip. The head itself is NOT included. So an “M3 x 10mm” screw has a 10mm long threaded shaft under the head. All our lengths follow this standard.

Yes – all M1 to M6 screws in this range (up to 50mm length) are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving you maximum grip even in shallow holes.
3. Will the finish rust? Can I use these screws outdoors?
Nickel plating and black finishes provide moderate corrosion resistance suitable for indoor use and occasional light outdoor exposure. For continuous outdoor or marine environments, we recommend stainless steel screws. These are best for electronics, furniture, and workshop projects.
