Great for custom hot wheels

The cutting edge of the screws dulls very fast, so you have to back out and start over with a new screw after a few turns. But after a bit, the hole was tapped and ready for the final fresh screw. Very happy with these, saved me from buying a hole tap and specialty screws

Does what I want, but understand they are NOT self tapping

As stated, does what I want great. But a self-tapping screw has a cutting edge on them and these don't. I knew goint into the purchase that this would be the case as this can be seen from the pics. So people who are breaking them of in aluminum is no surprise. I use them in plastic and they would work in thin sheet metal probably. Just drill pilot holes in anything you use it on except softer wood. The product description is off and the photos are not up to date. The case is awesome as it has little ribs on top to keep the tiny screws from jumping sections, see my photo. Funny, their phot shows no ribs. It would have been nice if the label for screw size was on the inside as it shows in their photos, but reality is they are on outside.
