It is highly water-resistant thanks to the continuous rubber seal around the lid. In heavy rain or when driving through puddles, water won't seep inside. However, it is not intended for submersion. For maximum protection, we recommend occasional inspection of the seal.
The listed dimensions (31.1" L × 15.75" W × 17.52" H) are the assembled exterior measurements. The interior is slightly smaller due to panel thickness — roughly 29.5" × 13.5" × 16". It easily accommodates standard cordless tool cases, jumper cables, hitches, and recovery gear.
The box features pre-drilled flanges for mounting, but mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, brackets) is not included. This is intentional because every truck/trailer frame varies. We recommend using 5/16" or 3/8" stainless steel bolts, washers, and lock nuts (available at any hardware store) for a custom, secure fit. Professional installation is advised for underbody applications.
Absolutely. While it’s designed for underbody use (truck frame or trailer frame), many users mount it on flat surfaces like trailer tongue areas, inside service vans, or on pickup bed racks. Just ensure the mounting surface is solid and you use appropriate hardware.
The T-handle lock is made of corrosion-resistant materials and designed for outdoor use. Two keys are included. For replacement keys, please contact our support with the key code (stamped on the key), and we can assist.
