Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Secure and Mark the Pipe

Lock the PVC pipe in a bench vise and draw a straight, centered horizontal reference line along its top surface using a straightedge and marker.

Step 2: Drill and Drive the Middle Hooks

Mark equal intervals along the line, drill straight pilot holes, and drive wood screws perfectly straight into these middle holes to serve as hooks.

Step 3: Drill the Offset End Holes

Independently drill the two end holes, manually offsetting them slightly off the reference line by eye so they do not line up perfectly with the middle hooks.

Step 4: Mount the Rack Horizontally

Align the rack horizontally against the wall and drive mounting screws straight through the end holes; because the holes are offset, this naturally forces the middle hooks to tilt upward safely.

Build this smart, simple organizer to finally clear up your workbench workspace.
