Upcycled Threaded Wall Hook Hack
Step1: Prep the Bottleneck and Pole
Cut off the threaded neck of a plastic bottle with a utility knife, keeping a short plastic collar. Slide the collar onto the end of your wooden rod.
Step2: Heat-Shrink the Plastic
Apply heat evenly around the plastic collar using a heat gun . As the heat-shrinkable plastic tightens around the wooden rod, it forms a permanent threaded connector.
Step3: Mount the Cap to the Wall
Drive a screw straight through the center of the plastic bottle cap into your wooden wall or cabinet using a screwdriver .
Step4: Screw on the Pole and Use
Twist the threaded end of the rod directly into the wall-mounted cap clockwise until secure . Your solid, removable wall hanger is ready to hold clothes or tools !
